Free, but booking is essential as spaces are limited.

Workshop aimed for adults (18+). Materials and refreshments (Chinese tea) supplied.

On this Cloud Appreciation Day and in honour of Tottenham's Luke Howard, the Namer of Clouds, join us for this special open-air drawing session looking at clouds with artist Ki Wong.

Explore how we see, connect and share stories in different cultures through clouds and landscapes. This workshop will guide you in observing and interpreting natural and poetic images of clouds through lines and brushwork, introducing participants to traditional Chinese painting tools and techniques. Ki will reference 唐詩 - Tang dynasty poetry - that often uses clouds as metaphors for feelings - longing, transcendence, or the passage of time - capturing moods beyond literal imagery.

Please book your free ticket for this workshop via ticket tailor.

Meet at the Museum Reception Desk. Chairs will be provided but please bring a rug if you prefer.

NB If wet, the workshop will take place inside the Museum.
