Winter Closure

Bruce Castle Museum will remain closed to the public until the end of January. Only pre-existing bookings during this time are going ahead.

There will be a phased re-opening of gallery spaces plus resumed school visits from February.

Upstairs Gallery Closure

Our upstairs galleries will not be accessible to the public for the foreseeable future of the project.

Little Explorers Gallery

Our Little Explorers Gallery is having a makeover as part of our exciting project to restore our East-Wing and has now closed.

You can still find a selection of handling resources and books in the Old Kitchen Gallery. 

The Clocktower

Apologies if our clock is not always telling the right time! We have limited access to the clocktower for re-winding due to ongoing building works. Thank you for your patience.
