Our exciting project to restore the East Wing and provide a new exhibition gallery is underway until 2025.
Find out more on our Project Update page and check out What’s On, as some areas of the Museum are not accessible.
Our volunteers are important to us at Bruce Castle Museum and Archive.
Please note - we are currently unable to accept new volunteers due to our ongoing East Wing Restoration Project.
However, if you are interested in volunteering for Bruce Castle Museum & Archive then please do send us an email at museum.services@haringey.gov.uk.
We will add you to a waiting list and get back to you about opportunities once the Restoration Project has finished!
Volunteers get involved in lots of things at the Museum and Archive. They can help out regularly or occasionally at events and activities taking place at Bruce Castle.
Not only are they able to learn new skills or sharpen up old ones, build up their confidence and broaden their work experience, but it is also an opportunity to meet new people and give back to our communities whilst sharing valuable knowledge and expertise. All this greatly contributes to our services at Bruce Castle.
They can get involved behind the scenes on small projects such as listing, researching or storing our collections, working alongside our professional staff to help make our heritage more accessible. There are also occasional opportunities to support work on exhibitions, as well as volunteering for learning activities or community events.
If you want to find out more about volunteering, we welcome expressions of interest from all ages and backgrounds. To get in touch please email us to receive further information or discuss more: museum.services@haringey.gov.uk
