Our exciting project to restore the East Wing and provide a new exhibition gallery is underway until 2025.
Find out more on our Project Update page and check out What’s On, as some areas of the Museum are not accessible.
The Friends of Bruce Castle (FoBC) have been supporting Bruce Castle Museum and Archive as well as Bruce Castle Park for almost 30 years!
The Friends are an invaluable help. They actively support us by volunteering at events, raising funds to make educational and learning activities possible at Bruce Castle, as well as providing financial assistance to buy important historical acquisitions for the archive and museum collections. They are hands-on too - working with Haringey Council to support the future development of Bruce Castle.
Notable projects in partnership with the Museum and Archive include the wonderful conservation of the 1686 painting of Bruce Castle by Wolridge, the amazing acquisition of photographs of Nelson Mandela visiting Muswell Hill and the preservation of beautiful 18th century samplers and textiles.
The free family activities that run on weekends and during the school holidays, as well as Little Explorers events, would not be possible without the Friends' support and volunteer help. The Museum and Archive's evening and lunchtime talks programme is also supported by the Friends.
To find out more about how you can get involved as a Friend or even join the Committee to champion your local Museum and Archive at Bruce Castle, check out the Friends of Bruce Castle’s own website. The Friends also have their own Facebook page, Twitter account and Instagram.

Everyone is welcome.
