Our Museum Galleries, Search Room and Schools Programme are open for visitors.

Enjoy your visit and have fun uncovering fascinating facts about the heritage of Tottenham, Hornsey and Wood Green, whilst learning about the stories of our communities and people in Haringey.

Museum opening hours 

  • Wednesday to Sunday, 1pm to 5pm  

Visiting groups including schools may book to visit at other times. For more information, please contact us at museum.services@haringey.gov.uk

The Museum and Archive is always closed on 25 and 26 December, 1 January, Good Friday and the summer bank holidays. At holiday times, please check these pages for any additional closures. 

The Museum and Archive will be closed during Easter Bank Holiday weekend: Good Friday 7 April, Easter Saturday 8 April, Easter Sunday 9 April and Easter Monday 10 April 2023. Usual visiting hours resume from Wednesday 12 April onwards.

Admission to the Museum and Archive is free.

Archive Search Room opening hours 

  • Wednesday to Friday 10am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 4pm  
  • Every second Saturday of the month, 10am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 4pm 

Booking is essential. Please check visiting the archive to find out how to book your visit and our current procedures. 

Keeping safe 

We encourage face coverings (unless exempt) for all visitors and staff whilst inside the building. Please be aware of other visitors when moving around the Museum. Thank you for your patience and understanding. 

Access and visiting the park 

We have a range of services for our visitors with access needs. Find out more about accessing our services here.

The Museum and Park is located in Bruce Castle Park, with 20 acres of beautiful parkland to relax in and take a stroll. The park is open all year round and gates are not locked. The café T On The Green is in the south-east corner of the park.
