The Museum and Archive is always closed on 25 and 26 December, 1 January, Good Friday and the summer bank holidays. At holiday times, please check these pages for any additional closures.
Admission to the Museum and Archive is free.
Please note: the Archive Search Room is closed until the beginning of October due to MEND major building project works. See more here.

The Museum and Park is located in Bruce Castle Park, with 20 acres of beautiful parkland to relax in and take a stroll. The park is open all year round and gates are not locked. The Pavilion café can be found in the south-east corner of the park.
