The scariest objects we have include an exploded bomb and our collection of sharks teeth.

The oldest document in our archive is a manorial court roll from 1309. It is made of
vellum (animal skin) and written in Latin.

Some of the strangest looking objects are our collection of mammoth teeth and our narwhal tusk.

The smallest objects include metal tokens which were given to children at Bruce Castle School.

Our oldest objects are our ammonite fossils. They range from less than 1cm in size through to our giant ammonite which is 29cm in diameter.
